Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist supports the MorganMyers digital team in executing effective digital strategies, with a focus on social media content development, planning, social media listening, community management, and influencer partnerships. This role helps drive audience growth, engagement, and measurable brand impact for clients in the agriculture and food/CPG sectors. Collaborating across internal teams and with clients, the specialist ensures alignment on digital initiatives, implements key social and influencer campaigns, and shares best practices to advance overall digital performance. Responsibilities include: Executing data-driven social media strategy aligned with brand voice, target audience, and business goals of clients and agency. Developing a thorough understanding of social media and content creator platform offerings to unlock access and increase adoption of features that will enhance the relevancy of content. Creating framework for content creation, integrating client priorities to accelerate content creation, execution, measurement, and optimization. Producing high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos) across various social media platforms with emphasis on innovation. Proactively engaging with social media posts through social listening, monitoring conversations and relevant posts, identify emerging trends and surfacing insights to inform content strategies. Managing community engagements including timely and thoughtful reactions and responses to comments and direct messages. Overseeing social media content calendars, ensuring content is published consistently and adheres to client's brand guidelines. Reviewing audience research to understand demographics, interests, and online behavior to tailor content accordingly. Lead the development of audience building and paid social advertising and oversee the execution while working with clients. Reviewing social media data and identify trends and insights to inform content strategy and campaign optimization. Utilizing analytics to identify what is working and what isn't, build performance dashboards and client reports, and continuously optimize social creative, targeting, and channel mix to achieve results. Collaborating on comprehensive influencer marketing strategies that align with clients overall marketing objectives and brand initiatives while maintaining channel profitability and delivering on client objectives. Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure a unified brand experience across all channels. Reviewing competitive analysis and stay up to date on best practices to inform strategic planning. Championing best practices in social media and stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies. Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in social media marketing with a proven track record of success in organic growth. Intermediate level knowledge of social media algorithms and best practices for major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.). Intermediate level knowledge of developing and implementing data-driven social media strategies aligned with business objectives. Ability to analyze social media data, identify trends, and translating insights into actionable strategies that show measurable growth. Demonstrated expertise in implementing successful influencer marketing strategies for brands (CPG or agriculture industries preferred), with a proven track record of achievements. Capable of developing influencer campaign briefs and effectively communicating with influencers of varying ages and communication styles by adapting communication methods, actively listening, and adjusting approach for clarity and resonance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong understanding of brand voice and messaging. Proven success in creating engaging social media content (text, images, videos) with a focus on measurement and showing organic growth. Proven success in managing social media and influencer campaigns across multiple social networks. Proven success in using social media tools and technology while increasing efficiency.
