Summary
The Designer/Drafter performs design tasks, primarily for major projects or multiple minor projects concurrently, under the general direction of their immediate supervisor.
Salary : $60-$70k
Essential Job Functions Translate project information (e.g., specifications, sales order details, data sheets) into drawings and documentation for manufacturing purposes. Identify deviations in project scope, estimate changes' magnitude, and communicate them to relevant parties. Maintain design continuity throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure effective communication within the engineering team and with other design and engineering disciplines. Execute quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance. Competencies
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor software. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of engineering principles and techniques. Familiarity with various fabrication methods and installation procedures. Broad understanding of materials, including their characteristics, tolerances, and limitations. General comprehension of mechanical systems' operation. Education and Experience
Preferably holds a two-year college degree in design, drafting, or a related field. Alternatively, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree. Quality benefit programs that include:
