Key Notes •Candidates should be strong verbal communicators, able to provide clear and concise answers •This is a development role, but they need to be able to communicate development concepts to non-technical resource and understand business requirements. •Experience needs to be in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (often abbreviated SFMC). You may also see it referred to as "Marketing Cloud Engagement" which is a newer term. o This is different than "Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement", which was previously "Pardot". They 2 are different platforms.

ABOUT THE ROLE A Marketing Cloud Developer for our CX Digital Marketing Practice is a key position to our customers. This role is heavily involved in the development of robust and high quality solutions across marketing communication platforms, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: •Work as part of an overall delivery team to produce a stellar customer experience. •Be an active participant in technology, design, and development conversations. •Develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. •Play a technical role in evaluating new business feature requests, considering the customer's current and future-state marketing technology landscape. •Ability to review the customer's existing instance of their customer experience platform and/or tools and recommend improvements. •Participate in refining product backlog, grooming, and similar agile or scrum based ceremonies

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Required: •3+ years experience developing solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. •Experience with complex data structures, data modeling and databases (typical marketing data and data structures). •Ability to develop across all the major Marketing Cloud components: o Email Studio o Cloud Pages o Journey Builder o Automation Studio including imports, exports, queries o Contact Builder / Data Extensions o Mobile Connect (SMS) •Proficient in standard Marketing Cloud languages o AMPscript o SQL o HTML / CSS o Javasript o SSJS (preferred) •Experience working with the Marketing Cloud SOAP and REST APIs, providing guidance on API call structure and troubleshooting to teams connecting to the APIs •Experience working with Salesforce CRM, focused on the CRM to Marketing Cloud connection. This includes object replication, engagement data write back, and similar integration patterns. •Experience understanding requirements and designs, asking clarifying questions to ensure solutions are developed properly and based on best practices.
