The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join our Shared Delivery Team (SDT). This role involves managing a team of ProServe Delivery Consultants and supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects. You will leverage your IT and/or Management Consulting background to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams. Responsibilities
Build and manage a high-performing team of Delivery Consultants and/or Engagement Managers. Collaborate with teams to deploy solutions and develop new features. Develop and oversee innovative IT strategies for clients. Manage practice P&L, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Drive business development and exceed customer satisfaction targets. Qualifications
Basic: 7+ years in IT and/or Management Consulting, with 3+ years in leadership. Experience managing IT transformation projects. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years building quantitative solutions, managing scientists or ML engineers, and deploying analytical systems. Active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI or above. Preferred: Advanced degree or AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional). Strong project and resource management skills. Financial acumen and P&L management experience. Excellent stakeholder management, sales, negotiation, and communication skills. Expertise in computer vision algorithms, system design, and deployment, especially in classified environments; proficiency in Python, R, or similar. Additional Information
