This position supports faculty with applying accessible and inclusive design principles, best practices in course design, online teaching strategies, and instructional technologies to improve student learning. The goal is to create effective and engaging learning environments. In collaboration with the Teaching & Learning Center Coordinator, this position assists with professional development aligned with strategic priorities and faculty needs. This position reports to the TLC Coordinator. This is an on-campus position. Duties and Responsibilities Assist faculty in course design and course material development for all delivery modes. Collaborate with other campus stakeholders to identify solutions to improve instructional practice. Apply quality assurance standards in course design reviews. Assist with new faculty (adjunct & full-time) onboarding and orientation. Participate in committees. Assist TLC Director in developing and facilitating instructional training and professional development. Create OPI Professional Development Units (PDUs) as an OPI Authorized PDU provider and maintain training unit data. Required Qualifications Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Bachelors Degree or higher in instructional or educational technology, education, or a related field. Demonstrated experience working with educators using a variety of approaches to teaching and learning in various curricular areas. Demonstrated experience designing instruction for online learning environments Demonstrated experience using a course/learning management system. Demonstrated familiarity with applying accessible technology guidelines. Preferred Qualifications Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Two or more years of professional teaching experience in an educational setting. Experience working in post-secondary/higher education. Demonstrated experience designing courses in or administration of
Canvas Masters Degree or higher in instructional or educational technology, education or relate field. The Successful Candidate Will
Possess effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Contribute positively to the academic success of the students and the mission of Great Falls College MSU . Have an appreciation of diverse constituencies and add intellectual diversity to the department Special Requirements
