This role offers the opportunity to innovate and shape the future of automation in financial services. About the team: The UiPath CoE at FIS is a dynamic team of automation experts dedicated to driving operational efficiency and innovation in financial services. Comprising skilled developers, business analysts, and system architects, we leverage UiPath's cutting-edge RPA technology to streamline processes, enhance compliance, and deliver scalable solutions that empower our organization to thrive in a fast-paced fintech landscape. What you will be doing: Developing RPA Workflows: Design, build, and test robotic process automation (RPA) solutions using UiPath to automate repetitive financial processes like data reconciliation, transaction processing, or compliance checks. Process Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts to map and analyze existing processes, identifying automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce errors. Maintaining and Optimizing Bots: Monitor deployed bots, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows to ensure reliability and performance under changing business conditions. Integrating Systems: Work on integrating UiPath automations with fintech systems (e.g., core banking platforms, payment gateways) using APIs or database connections to enable seamless data flow. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct unit and end-to-end testing of automation scripts to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance with fintech regulatory standards. Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation for automation processes, including design specifications, user guides, and maintenance protocols to support scalability. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and operations, to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on automation goals. What you will need: Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, VB.NET, or Python, with hands-on experience in UiPath or similar RPA platforms. Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, and translate requirements into efficient RPA workflows. Problem-Solving Skills: Aptitude for troubleshooting and optimizing automation scripts to ensure reliability and performance in a dynamic environment. Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and compliance stakeholders. Attention to Detail: Commitment to producing high-quality, secure, and well-documented code that adheres to fintech standards and best practices. Education: A bachelor's in computer science or information systems or equivalent experience. Added bonus if you have: Advanced UiPath Certifications: UiPath Advanced Developer or Orchestrator certifications, demonstrating deep expertise in RPA development and deployment. Knowledge of AI/ML: Exposure to incorporating AI/ML capabilities (e.g., UiPath AI Fabric) into automation workflows for enhanced decision-making. DevOps Familiarity: Experience with CI/CD pipelines or version control systems (e.g., Git) to streamline RPA development and deployment processes.
