Digital Marketing Specialist - Research and Leads
to support external communications in our offices located in Asheville, NC; Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Houston, TX; Overland Park, KS; Richmond, VA; or Pensacola, FL. A hybrid or remote schedule may be available at the company's discretion. The Digital Marketing Specialist reports to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and collaborates with senior leaders, managers, content contributors, and colleagues. Responsibilities include researching potential clients, markets, and competitors; preparing internal presentations; coordinating and following up on leads from digital campaigns and the website; qualifying leads; and assisting practitioners with sales presentations and closing deals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor quality for digital media deliverables for corporate communications initiatives. Manage social media content and create performance reports. Contribute ideas to enhance the firm's competitive position. Develop creative concepts for internal and external communications using Microsoft and Adobe software. Support digital communications initiatives with creative input. Utilize marketing and automation software. Research, write, and edit content including photos, graphics, videos. Implement and oversee digital advertising campaigns. Research clients and markets using online tools. Follow up on leads from the website and campaigns. Create compelling marketing messages from technical content. Maintain knowledge of content management systems like WordPress, Joomla!, Hubspot, SharePoint. Stay updated on digital tools and platforms. Track analytics, set goals, and measure campaign success. Manage content calendars. Develop PR and promotional materials. Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field, with 4+ years of experience; or an Associate's degree with 6+ years; or 8+ years of relevant experience. Business development marketing experience in science, engineering, technology, or professional services (preferred). Experience with LinkedIn, Google Ads, ZoomInfo, AI tools, and market research platforms (preferred). Seniority level
