Trax USA Corp., a global leader in aviation maintenance software, seeks an Instructional Designer to join the eLearning team. The Instructional Designer position will support the companys eLearning initiatives, with a primary focus on the creation of instructional storyboards and eLearning training course materials for Traxs suite of apps. Description

Trax USA Corp., a global leader in aviation maintenance software, seeks an Instructional Designer to join the eLearning team. The Instructional Designer position will support the companys eLearning initiatives, with a primary focus on the creation of instructional storyboards and eLearning training course materials for Traxs suite of apps.

Qualified applicants must demonstrate excellent organization, communication skills, and an astute eye for detail. This position requires highly motivated individuals who can grasp complex software and learn quickly. It also requires the ability to work within tight deadlines and team-based environments.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

Design and produce instructional storyboards for eLearning courses based on business requirements, target audiences, and defined learning objectives for a variety of Trax products Ensure storyboards include narrative scripts, screen descriptions, visual guidance, learner interactions, assessments, and technical notes required for course development Create training courses based on these outlines and storyboarding materials Analyze source content provided by subject matter experts (SMEs), product documentation, and existing training materials to help inform learning objectives and structure. Develop knowledge of Trax products by exploring features, configuring data, troubleshooting, and simulating real-world use cases that will be explained and/or illustrated in the training materials Collaborate closely with the Technical Writing team, SMEs, product owners, and other internal teams to gather input and clarify processes as needed, including coordination around LMS-related needs Apply standard learning principles and best practices to storyboard content while ensuring consistency with the eLearning teams content standards Edit and perform maintenance on existing Trax eLearning coursework Provide regular updates and feedback regarding any relevant progress and timelines Manage workload to meet agreed-upon timelines and indicate any risks in a timely manner Assist with the administrative tasks in the Trax LMS as needed, such as uploading course content, assigning users, or basic configurations and troubleshooting

Requirements

Requirements

include:

2+ years of experience in Instructional Design and Course Development Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Psychology, Technical Communication, English/Writing/Journalism, or a related field Familiarity with aviation maintenance, MRO operations, or enterprise software training is a plus Practical knowledge of Articulate products such as Rise and Storyline (be prepared to provide work samples and/or complete an assessment to demonstrate this experience and the range of options for those tools) Expertise of standard learning principles and industry best practices Demonstrated ability to communicate difficult concepts and processes using clear and simple language and visuals Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and their basic administrative functions (e.g., uploading content, assigning users, etc.) Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced work environment
