Lead by example—set ambitious goals and foster a culture of success
Provide clear feedback, coaching, and performance reviews to ensure continuous development
Partner with maintenance leaders to ensure timely unit turns, project completion, and preventive programs
Champion a culture of excellence and high standards across your team and community
Develop, manage, and execute annual operating budgets
Monitor financial performance and maximize Net Operating Income (NOI)
Ensure timely rent collection, deposits, and accurate reporting
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to manage services, billing, and compliance
Evaluate market trends and recommend rental rates to stay competitive
Oversee the leasing process, applicant screening, and resident retention efforts
Ensure the leasing office and model units are always tour-ready and professionally presented
Deliver best-in-class customer service while driving occupancy and community engagement
Maintain pristine community standards, ensuring curb appeal and common areas reflect quality
Build meaningful relationships with residents through responsive, solutions-driven service
Ensure a safe and welcoming environment by proactively addressing concerns
Maintain a strong presence throughout the property, ensuring it reflects your pride in leadership
Stay informed about market competitors and leverage insights to enhance community appeal
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years of property management experience, including 1+ years as a Community Manager
Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi or similar software is a plus
Solid understanding of Fair Housing laws; knowledge of Affordable Housing programs a plus
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to walk the property daily, including stair-climbing and light lifting (up to 25 lbs).
