General Responsibilities: Assist the government in directing web developers/administrators in developing and modifying computer applications software, interfaces, or specialized utility programs. Oversee the work of Junior- level web developers/administrators that are developing and modifying computer applications software, interfaces, or specialized utility programs. Advise the Government on proposed changes to the web solutions designs based on analysis of requirements and new technology. Follow established processes and complete the appropriate documentation to ensure systems and web applications are migrated into the cloud and achieve Authority To Operate (ATO). Identify and evaluate applications that can support the exploitation of data and databases. Assess what is required to integrate a particular tool into the NGA IT environments. Direct preparation of required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Plan and execute the migration of the various engineering tools into the cloud per NGA policy and government guidance. Follow established processes and complete the appropriate documentation to ensure systems and applications migrated into the cloud achieve ATO. Oversee the work of Senior-, Mid- and Junior- level Tools Developer/Maintainer. Oversee activities to maintain the Enterprise Engineering Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) in C2S or similar cloud-based environment. Expertly provide cloud hosting cost estimates for planning purposed and monitor burn rates using the cloud estimation tools approved by the Government. Guide the expertise in the implementation, integration, and maintenance of tools to include ServiceNow, DOORS Next Gen, MS Project, Cameo, Riverbed, NetScout, Dynatrace, MagicDraw, Syndeia, Rational System Architect, etc. to ensure data sharing and process automation.
Education/Certification Required: Masters degree, Bachelors degree plus 2-year experience, Associates degree plus 4 years experience, or a minimum of 6 years experience, in relevant field Required Skills and Tasks: Active TS/SCI clearance,or eligible to renew inactive TS/SCI clearance Conduct root cause problem analysis Performs multiple tasks at specialist level Proficient in administration of collaborative, team communication and management tools such as Microsoft SharePoint Successfully implemented cross-organizational and international technology integration Experience in the use of Database Management System (DBMS) for application query and storage May be recognized as a SME in their field Evaluates & recommends new technology & processes based upon cost, risk, mission Leadership Self-guided individual work Management Key member of team Oversees or monitors task(s) Provides issue resolution Compass, Inc.
