CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Web Developer within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining websites and web applications. In essence, your responsibilities will include coding, testing, and troubleshooting, as well as collaborating with designers and other team members. Web developers also ensure websites are functional, user-friendly, and optimized for performance and security. CGI Federal is growing its high-performance team whose members share a passion for building high-quality, scalable, advanced IT solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced, outcome-driven mission. This position is located in our USA DC Washington however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities: Designing and Developing: Creating the structure, layout, and functionality of websites and web applications using programming languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Coding and Testing: Writing clean, efficient code and conducting thorough testing to ensure functionality and performance across different browsers and devices. Collaborating with Teams: Working closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to bring projects to completion. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identifying and resolving website issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring ongoing maintenance and updates. Staying Updated: Keeping up-to-date with the latest web development technologies, trends, and best practices. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Senior Level - 8 years' direct experience Mid-Level - 6 years' direct experience Education: In addition, shall possess a degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly Required: HTML 5, CSS / SCSS, JavaScript with Typescript, JSON, Angular.js, Microsoft Office Suite, Open AI, other AI technologies. Highly Desired: d3.js, leaflet.js, and proficient oral and written communication skills. Front-End Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Back-End Development: Experience with server-side languages like Python, PHP, Ruby, or Node.js. Database Management: Knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Version Control: Experience with Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and solve technical issues related to website functionality and performance. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
