Job Summary:
The company is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Social Media Manager to join our Marketing team! As a Social Media Manager you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our social media strategy, alongside your manager. As our online presence is extremely important to the success of our business, your position will play a huge role in driving our business' growth and success. Under the direction of the VP of Product Marketing, the candidate will strategize, implement, report, and manage the companys numerous social media platforms, channels, and initiatives. Your primary responsibilities for social media include the creation, the placement and posting, the management, and the tracking of our social media posts and campaigns; to better demonstrate the strengths of our products, services, and brands. You will be expected to improve our social media strategy and engagement rate to maximize the return on our investment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer expectations according to past & potential social media activity
- Define key performance indicators and KRAs for social media campaigns
- Update social media content across all channels
- Engage with customers and followers
- Use tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite or any other social media marketing tools that you currently use and/or recommend what tools would help best suite our business
- Monitor campaigns and analyze data obtained
- Track SEO and web traffic metrics; analyze results and recommend solutions for improvement
- Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network
- Develop content or assign tasks to content developers
- Keep an eye on social media trends; react and respond accordingly
- Communicate effectively to all stakeholders, including senior management and content developers
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience as a social media manager or a similar role for more than 4 years
- Experience in creating social media strategies
- Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, X, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- A self-starter and independent thinker
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in marketing, digital marketing, internet marketing or related field
- Prior experience as a copywriter
- Prior experience as a content manager
- Prior experience in social media at a technology company

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Occasionally required to stand/walk/sit

- Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet but can become a little noisy at times.
