We’re building a content engine that educates, engages, and converts. To support this mission, ourContent & Research team is growing, and we’re hiring aContent Writer (Contract)to create high-quality, SEO-driven, and thought leadership content across multiple formats.
You’ll be part of a small, focused team where your work directly influences content direction and strategy. This role offers the opportunity to grow, collaborate on important cybersecurity and compliance topics, and contribute to a content program that has real impact on how organizations understand and manage risk.
This is a part-time, contract role with a monthly retainer. It’s ideal for a writer with experience inGovernance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), cybersecurity, or SaaSwho knows how to write for SEO, leverage AI tools for efficiency, and deliver polished work across a variety of formats.
What you'll be doing
- Write articles and guides that educate our audience and drive inbound traffic
- Develop white papers and long-form assets for lead generation
- Create SEO/GEO/AIO optimized landing pages aligned with campaigns and product messaging
- Draft social media copy including posts, carousels, and snippets to extend content reach
- Conduct research and SME interviews to ensure content is accurate, credible, and insightful
- Stage and publish content in WordPress with proper formatting, metadata, and tagging
- Support ad hoc copywriting projects (e.g., one-pagers, slide decks, event collateral)
What we're looking for
- Proven writing experience inGRC, cybersecurity, or B2B SaaS, ideally covering topics such as:
- Information security risk managementpractices (e.g., risk assessments, vendor risk, asset management)
- Control frameworks(e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls)
- Regulatory compliance(e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, state privacy laws)
- Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory topics into clear, engaging content for technical and non-technical audiences
- Extremely familiar withSEO principlesand experienced in writing content optimized for search
- Ability toleverage AI toolsto accelerate research, drafting, and optimization (while maintaining ownership of quality and accuracy)
- Strong collaboration skills, working with SMEs and marketing stakeholders to ensure accuracy and credibility
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
