Position Overview

The Junior Creative Production Artist provides administrative and technical support to our dedicated creative production

team. This role will collaborate and provide support to creative leads and our account teams by reviewing project details and

ensuring document specifications for accuracy. This position involves working between agency and client stakeholders to

assess design needs, develop, coordinate, edit, and complete creative assets across media solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and support Creative Account Managers on project initiatives for Midnight Oil clients.
  • Help manage and edit spreadsheets for the creative team’s projects.
  • Prepare final files for export and print production.
  • Organize file naming on Master specs.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to interact with account, production, and creative teams

regularly to provide status updates on projects.

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and ensure brand consistencies and quality standards.
  • Creating templates, adapting creative and building production mechanical files utilizing relevant

software.

  • Assist the creative team with light retouching and color correction on new art and design changes.
  • Previous experience creating presentations with a high level of professional craftsmanship.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any file issues that arise within both the creative team and outside

vendors.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with Production Design/ Production Art for print & digital projects.
  • Previous experience and knowledge using Illustrator/Photoshop/In Design.

Preferred Qualifications Of Position

  • Experience working with multiple print and digital types, units, and formats.
  • Experience working in Entertainment and/or entertainment adjacent verticals.
  • Proficient in Creative Adobe Suite Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign / Acrobat / Outlook.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Excellent understanding of entertainment production workflow.
  • Strong eye-for-design: composition, typography, layout.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with high level dedication and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Client first satisfaction mentality and approach.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office, including previous experience with Excel.
  • Proven aptitude for quick creative adaptation thinking with acute attention to detail within

demanding deadlines.

  • Comfortable analyzing and discussing creative solutions in a clear, rational, and creative manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to continued learning; Enjoys staying current with the latest techniques, digital

formats, design trends and technology.

Pay Range

USD $18.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.

Pay Statement

The national pay range for this role is listed above. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
