Job Summary

As an integral member of the UK HealthCare Corporate Communications and UK College of Medicine Communications Teams and functions under the general supervision of the Senior Director of Communcations-UK HealthCare.The position will work in cooperation with appropriate UK HealthCare, college and university partners to tell the story of UK HealthCare and support the overall organizational mission.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Web content management systems, applications and knowledge of web development trends, design software, organization and project tracking, customer service. UKHC employee/learner communication network policies, training, teaching others, coaching, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven talent for creative, effective ways to translate content into web page designs and graphical elements using principles of user experience/user interface. Interact “Manchester” platform, widgets, application settings knowledge preferred. Extensive knowledge of web design best practices, including information architecture, web accessibility and search engine optimization required.

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in communications, web design or related field (or equivalent years of experience) and three years of professional web design experience.
