Overview Kings Hammer is one of the nation’s premier youth soccer organizations, and we’re seeking a Designer who can elevate our brand identity across markets, events, and platforms. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who thrives on variety — from building brand systems to delivering standout campaign assets. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic thinker and skilled executor, with the ability to own their creative pipeline from concept through delivery. This is a unique opportunity to shape the creative look and feel of a nationally recognized youth soccer brand.
This role reports to the VP of Marketing and collaborates closely with the national marketing team and local market coordinators.
Responsibilities
Brand Development & Stewardship
Lead the evolution of Kings Hammer’s visual identity across print, digital, merchandise, and event materials.
Create and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistent application across all markets.
Design logos, icons, and visual systems for clubs, programs, and events.
Creative Design & Execution
Develop engaging creative assets for campaigns, social media, digital ads, websites, presentations, print collateral, and merchandise.
Translate creative briefs into polished designs that align with brand strategy and marketing objectives.
Ensure all deliverables are optimized for their specific medium and audience.
Creative Workflow Ownership
Independently manage your creative pipeline — from intake and prioritization to delivery — ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.
Balance multiple projects simultaneously, setting realistic timelines and meeting deadlines.
Maintain organized design files and digital asset libraries.
Collaboration & Strategy
Partner with Marketing, Communications, and Content teams to bring storytelling to life visually.
Provide creative direction and feedback on outsourced or partner-produced design work.
Stay current on design trends and incorporate innovative solutions into brand expression.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field — or equivalent professional experience.
4+ years of professional design experience (agency or in-house).
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both brand identity and multi-channel campaign design.
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Experience with Figma or similar digital design/prototyping tools.
Familiarity with motion design/animation tools (bonus).
Understanding of print production and digital design requirements.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS a plus.
Experience in sports, entertainment, or multi-market brand environments is a strong plus.
