The Nordstrom Beauty Counter Manager plays a dual role – part salesperson, part teacher - while maximizing sales in their assigned beauty brand. Ideal candidates are results-oriented, thrive in a commissioned sales environment, are passionate about beauty trends, and can build a customer following both in-store and digitally.

A day in the life…

• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customer’s beauty goals
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals, utilizing both in-store and digital selling tools (including text and social media)
• Manage the scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results
• Keep department customer-ready through organization and cleanliness
• Keep up with the latest beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through trainings provided by Nordstrom and luxury brand partners
• Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state-specific laws. Pay ranges may vary by location and are dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Hourly pay: $21.95 - $22.85. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401(k), medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO, holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
