UI/JavaScript/React; CLT Job at Genesis10 in Charlotte

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Work on maintenance and feature delivery for our customer-facing applications

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience
• Proficiency in CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript with modern techniques
• Experience with Mobile First development methodologies
• Experience with SASS/Less
• Knowledge of ES6/ES2015
• Ability to manipulate the DOM with standard JavaScript
• Experience with UI build frameworks such as NPM, Grunt, Gulp
• Experience with JS testing frameworks like Mocha, Jasmine
• Experience consuming REST APIs using async methods in collaboration with back-end teams
• Expertise in UI development, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
• Ability to write high-quality, semantic, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
• Teamwork abilities
• Experience performing code reviews
• Motivated to learn new technologies and a self-starter attitude
• Familiarity with CSS methodologies like BEM, OOCSS, SMACSS
• Knowledge of functional and object-oriented JavaScript approaches

Desired skills:

• Experience with Agile development workflows
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Polymer
• Experience with enterprise-level defect resolution across UI components

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06
