About Visual Merchandising
The Visual Merchandiser ensures a great guest experience by maintaining visual standards, using elevated merchandising techniques, mannequin styling, mapping, fixture blocking, and In Store Marketing (ISM) elements.
This role provides skills in retail fundamentals, planning, team training, and visual strategy leadership.
Typical Responsibilities
- Plan visual workload to meet sales goals, events, and promotions.
- Assess and improve store visual execution.
- Support visual standards and In-Store Marketing strategies.
- Set up and maintain visual presentations and store signage.
- Lead visual merchandising strategies and team training.
- Ensure safety, inclusivity, and ethical conduct.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of visual merchandising experience.
- Strong understanding of trends, style, and business acumen.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift merchandise up to 44 pounds and operate store equipment.
Additional Requirements
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
