Job Description

The Technical Writer will be supporting a large, complex IT project for our client. The project entails replacing and building out a financial management system that will integrate with many of the client’s applications once complete. This platform will be developed from scratch, and development will take approximately 2 years. Once the development is complete, the project will move into operational support & maintenance. The Technical Writer will write manuals and perform scripting, and needs strong agile experience.

$58/hr - $68/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing and editing for the software development industry.

• 1+ years of experience in technical writing and editing for the financial industry.

• 2+ years of experience developing on-line source documentation

• 2+ years of experience developing help manuals, training materials, and user guides.

• 2+ years of experience Maintaining documentation libraries and subscription lists.

• 2+ years of experience Ensuring appropriate control access/use of documentation materials.

• 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong communication skills; both written and spoken.

• Proficient in English language.

• Ability to communicate information effectively to business partners, technical staff, managers, and executives.

• Able to Identify, create, revise, and maintain documentation and templates.

• Ability to work in a team environment. Azure DevOps
