Job Description
Our team has a Technical Writer position available in Norfolk, VA. Primary responsibilities include:
* Gather, analyze, and compose technical information required for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, reports
* Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents
* Conducts research and ensures the use of proper technical terminology
* Translates technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel
Job Requirements
* 4-6 years directly related work experience
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, accounting
* Associate's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, accounting, or other related discipline and 4-6 years' general experience
* Must possess current IAT II or IAM II certification
