About the Role
We're looking for a Solution Architect to join our team and drive innovation at the intersection of warehouse automation and packaging optimization. This role is critical in shaping and delivering scalable, reproducible, technically sound, and operationally efficient solutions across a diverse range of customers and partners. You'll play a pivotal role in pre-sales conversations, technical solutioning, and continuous improvement alongside cross-functional teams including sales, solutions engineering and development, R&D, and product management within Packsize but extending out to a diverse set of partners.

We're looking for a Solution Architect to join our team and drive innovation at the intersection of warehouse automation and packaging optimization. This role is critical in shaping and delivering scalable, reproducible, technically sound, and operationally efficient solutions across a diverse range of customers and partners. You'll play a pivotal role in pre-sales conversations, technical solutioning, and continuous improvement alongside cross-functional teams including sales, solutions engineering and development, R&D, and product management within Packsize but extending out to a diverse set of partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and solution architecture for warehouse automation and packaging systems, ensuring they meet customer needs while utilizing all hardware and software components to best utilize their capabilities.
- Act as the technical owner of end-to-end solutions - from development through deployment - ensuring clarity, feasibility, and supportability. Ensure the solutions remain viable as technologies change.
- Support sales and partnership discussions by representing the technical perspective, addressing customer requirements, and identifying integration opportunities.
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to drive enhancements and new feature development when gaps in current solutions are identified.
- Become a subject matter expert across a broad technology landscape, including AMRs, ASRS, WMS/WES platforms, and right-size packaging technologies.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications , integration documentation, and solution templates to support rapid replication and deployment.
- Ensure solution viability and sustainability through close collaboration with partners, operations, support, and customer success teams.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in warehouse automation, packaging optimization, and fulfillment operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field - or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in solution engineering, systems design, or technical consulting in warehouse automation or logistics space.
- Strong understanding of warehouse systems and technologies such as:
- AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots)
- ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems)
- WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- WES (Warehouse Execution Systems)
- Right-size packaging solutions
- Proven ability to design scalable and supportable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working directly with customers, sales teams, and product/R&D organizations.
- Experience working with APIs, integration platforms, or system orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with industrial automation systems, robotics, or control systems.
- Background in pre-sales engineering or technical product management.
- Knowledge of sustainability and packaging optimization best practices.
