Are you a skilled and creative carpenter looking for a new challenge? We are on the hunt for a detail-oriented Creative Carpenter to join our team! In this dynamic role, you will undertake a variety of general carpentry services that support facility maintenance and enhancements. Your expertise will help us with office renovations, cabinetry production, building upkeep, and custom framing projects. Play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and visual appeal of our facilities through both scheduled and on-demand tasks.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Execute general carpentry tasks including framing, drywall repair, finish carpentry, and unique builds.
- Lead office renovation projects by modifying walls, doors, and ceilings to create functional spaces.
- Design and install minor cabinetry and shelving, and provide expert framing services for items such as plaques and awards.
- Assist with essential facility maintenance tasks, including:
- Troubleshooting and fixing minor structural and fixture issues.
- Repairing or replacing loose carpet tiles, floor tiles, and damaged furniture.
- Sealing leaks and conducting waterproofing repairs.
- Maintaining and replacing glass panels, addressing seal failures.
- Perform routine inspections of facilities to quickly identify and address maintenance needs.
- Collaborate effectively with other maintenance team members and departments to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Maintain tools and materials in optimal condition, keeping work areas clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and building codes.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in facilities management, operations, or a similar field.
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and standard facilities maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with space planning, vendor coordination, and daily facilities operations.
- Proficiency in using standard office and facilities management software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret building codes and safety regulations.
- Effective communication skills to manage vendor, contractor, and internal team interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field.
- 4+ years of facilities management experience, including oversight of office planning, maintenance programs, and vendor management.
- Experience in managing construction or renovation projects and lease administration.
- Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., FMP, CFM, or IFMA credentials).
- Knowledge in contract management, budgeting, and project scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency practices and sustainability standards.
- Experience with facility operations in a multi-site or corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Pay Range: Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
