Job Summary/Description: Gray Media is looking for a Coordinating Producer to join our team for a new daily talk show focused on health and consumer issues surrounding aging. This M-F show will air on Gray Media's broadcast and digital platforms. This is a new show being developed by Gray Media and an opportunity to join a team producing the next wave of syndicated programming for the company. This will NOT be a newscast. The ideal Coordinating Producer candidate will be a creative writer with a strong editorial background, a knack for showcasing, and familiarity working with multiple stations across a broadcast company. Organization and creative problem-solving are a must. This is an opportunity to focus on important issues affecting communities across the country.

This position is based in Atlanta, GA. The Coordinating Producer will be responsible for working with more than 100 Gray television stations across the company to identify, collect, and produce impactful stories for the daily show. The Coordinating Producer will need well-developed news judgment to spot stories that meet the editorial and visual standards of the broadcast. The Coordinating Producer will also have digital/social responsibilities as assigned. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Use the company Bitcentral platforms and station websites to locate content for the daily show - Assist line producer and associate producers in the stacking, writing, and producing of the daily show - Work with Editors to ensure the visual standards of the show are maintained - Assist management in meeting regular production schedule deadlines - Digital/Social/CTV duties as assigned - Other duties as assigned by the Executive Producer Qualifications/Requirements: - 5 years of experience as a producer (segment/news/talk show) - Strong editorial judgment - Motivated, self-starter who is detail-oriented - The ability to interact professionally and effectively with Gray management at the station and corporate level - Proficiency in Windows-based electronics and the ability to learn ENPS as well as new systems as they are implemented - Proficiency in BitCentral as well as new systems as they are implemented - Understanding of digital CMS production and the ability to learn Arc as well as new systems as they are implemented - BS/BA in Journalism/Communications or equivalent background - Flexibility with travel and work schedules - Must be willing to live in Atlanta, GA DMA - Remote work is a possibility - Must be 18 years or Older If you feel you’re qualified and want to work with a great group of people, go to
