Job Summary: As a Jr. Digital Media Buyer, you will serve as the primary campaign buyer and optimizer for dozens of campaigns across multiple platforms. Working with our Media Planning Ad-Ops, and Analytics teams, you will ensure flawless campaign execution, measurability, and performance. This role as a Digital Media Buyer is to build, communicate, execute, manage, and optimize effective and strategic RTB campaigns. Achieving success in this role will be determined by your ability to move the organization forward through improved campaign performance, quick response to client/sales requests and a willingness to quickly adapt to the job role. Your responsibility is to work closely with internal digital teams, on an ongoing basis, in developing and enhancing our clients’ digital campaigns. The ideal candidate has a ‘can do’ attitude, team spirit, is well organized, detail oriented, able to multitask and focus on successfully building digital media campaigns.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities:
· Build, execute, and optimize digital campaigns
· Implement best practices for bidding, budget management, ad operations, and reporting/analytics
· Review, provide input, and take timely action on campaign results and analytics, demonstrating the effectiveness of the media optimization, and articulating insights based on performance data
· Track changes and optimizations in campaign performance enabling clients to understand how we have made a material impact on their media results through optimizations.
· Oversee margin on campaigns working with operations team to adjust in order to maximize performance for the client as well as revenue for the agency.
· Oversee reconciliation between ad server, DMP and DSP reported impressions.
· Support knowledge sharing across the planning team via best-practice development and case studies
Qualifications:
· 2-3 years of hands-on programmatic buying experience (Google DV360 experience is a plus)
· Preferred experience within DSPs and Social Media (DV360, TTD, Meta, etc.)
· 2+years of relevant industry experience
Knowledge and Skills:
· Comprehensive knowledge of digital media solutions
· Deep understanding of various targeting tactics, audience buying strategies
· Proven ability to drive digital media performance
· Experience building digital marketing & communications plans from the ground up and measuring their success
· Customer Service oriented
· Proven ability to thrive in highly collaborative work environments
· Strong organizational skills, analytical thinker, and quick learner
· Strong familiarity with ad operations and campaign management (e.g., tagging, ad-servers, viewability tracking)
· Multi-tasking in fast-paced/high transaction environments
· Highly motivated to learn operational aspects of digital advertising
· Effective communicator both internally and externally
· Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally
· A positive, collaborative attitude
