Job Description

Salary: $110K - $150K annually

BEI Construction is seeking an Audio Visual Project Manager for our Low Voltage division. As an A/V Project Manager, you will be responsible for sales, cost estimates, and managing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of projects. Additionally, you will ensure projects meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements. This role reports to the General Manager of the division with frequent travel to jobsites throughout the Bay Area.

Responsibilities & Duties:

1. Project Leadership & Execution: Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex AV projects from inception to completion. Develop and manage detailed project schedules, coordinate with teams and vendors, and monitor project progress onsite.
2. Client Management: Serve as the primary contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships, gathering requirements, and advising on AV system design and implementation.
3. Budget & Financial Management: Manage project budgets, monitor costs, negotiate with vendors, and approve contracts and purchase orders.
4. Installation & System Integration: Oversee sourcing, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of AV systems, ensuring full operational status before handover.
5. Risk Management & Problem Resolution: Identify and mitigate risks, resolve challenges, and ensure system functionality and client satisfaction post-installation.
6. Quality Assurance & Post-Project Review: Ensure quality standards during testing, provide post-project support, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience in AV or project management
• Bachelors degree in IT, electrical, mechanical, construction management, or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Crestron, Extron, Bi-Amp, QSC programming (not required)
• Industry certifications such as Crestron DMC-E, CCNA, Q-SYS, Biamp Tesira, Zoom, Polycom, Cisco (not required)
• Valid CA Driver License and MVR meeting BEI standards
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
