About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President Fuels Marketing to lead and empower the Sales Team in achieving departmental goals and objectives. This role is pivotal in driving employee growth, securing the best product netbacks, and fostering strong customer relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for the transition to commercial fuel sales and delivery, as well as ensuring that fuels and biofuels purchasing and blending align with the Renewable Fuels Standard. Profit and loss responsibility, strategic development, and execution at the business unit level are key aspects of the position. The VP will also be involved in industry representation, monitoring the regulatory environment, and acting as a subject matter expert in fuel matters.
Applicants for the Vice President Fuels Marketing position at the company should have a Bachelors degree in business or a related field, with a preference for a degree in a relevant area. A minimum of 10 years' experience in fuels sales management is required, along with a strong comprehension of fuels market dynamics, the Renewable Fuels Standard, and fuels specifications. The role demands a candidate with a solid background in Mergers & Acquisitions, experience in acquiring Jobbers, and proficiency in fuels hedging. The ideal candidate will be adept at using planning software, SAP, and the Microsoft Office Suite. The ability to travel up to 30% is also necessary. The VP will be expected to lead a high-performance sales team, ensuring strong customer retention and growth.
