$46,000.00/yr - $50,000.00/yr Job Summary: The Marketing Coordinator plays a key supporting role within the Marketing Department at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. The primary responsibilities of this role are to amplify the Museums voice and keep our digital community and connections up to date on all events and programming at the Museum and Jane & John Justin Foundation Omni Theater. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, collaborative, and prefers to think outside the box. Reports to:

Marketing Manager Basic Function and Responsibilities including but not limited to: Maintain and regularly update the Museums website calendar and community calendars. Help create short and long form content for social media, e-blasts, reports and related publications. Assist with the development and distribution of press releases, media kits and general marketing materials. Maintain a regular social media posting schedule to promote Museum exhibits, events, and initiatives. Assist with tracking and reporting general marketing analytics. Support Museum photography and videography needs. Represent the Museum at special events and select outreaches. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills & Abilities: Proficient with Microsoft Office programs. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to creatively and effectively solve problems. Ability to work evenings/weekends when necessary. Ability to participate in meetings, work in a team environment, and interact with all levels of staff, volunteers, and the public. Education & Experience: 1-2 years of marketing experience required. Experience with non-profit organizations preferred. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, non-profit management, or a related field. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or other design platforms. Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must have the ability to lift at least 20 lbs. from the ground to waist level with or without reasonable accommodation. Seniority level
