Job Description
Adecco Staffing is hiring a temporary Marketing/Merchandising Coordinator for an international footwear company in Boston! This is a 4-6 month contract ON-SITE, located in Boston, Massachusetts.
Hours: 9:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week
Pay: $25/hour
Duties And Responsibilities
Lead seasonal pre-line meetings with key accounts and build market networks for input into future strategies and consistent product feedback.
Prepare and lead presentations at Global Product Review meetings to influence product introductions, color, pricing, life cycle, and flow to represent U.S. market needs.
Evaluate product line as it pertains to trends in pricing, performance, emerging growth areas and makes recommendations to improve quality, value, and/or reduce costs.
Lead sell-in product presentations with support of sales leaders during key account meetings and trade shows.
Research and benchmark competitor, market, consumer, and product trends and make recommendations to inform the seasonal product introductions with the intent to optimize profitable growth in targeted areas.
Analyze category performance and prepare and present reports that inform current performance and future strategies.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Has a clear understanding of the complexity of run specialty retail accounts.
Understands competitor products and positioning including pricing, features and functions.
Understands Performance Running consumer profiles and can apply it to product decisions.
Demonstrates high degree of professionalism, quality of work, communication, and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
Knowledge of sales data analysis and forecasting techniques
Ability to prepare and deliver high quality presentations to various internal and external audiences.
Ability to effectively motivate, engage and foster growth within team members.
Ability to hold themselves and team members accountable to a high standard of performance and results.
Ability to work varied hours, nights, days and weekends as needed to support the global business needs.

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
