Job Title: React UI Developer with GraphQL

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid options available)

Key Responsibilities

• UI Development: Design and implement rich, interactive, and responsive user interfaces using React.
• GraphQL Integration: Work closely with backend teams to integrate GraphQL APIs into front-end applications, optimizing data retrieval and minimizing over-fetching.
• Component Development: Build reusable UI components that adhere to modern design principles, ensuring consistency across the product.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure the application is performant and scalable by using best practices in React development and efficient GraphQL queries.
• Testing & Debugging: Write unit tests for React components and ensure high code quality through debugging and troubleshooting.
• Version Control: Work with Git to manage code versioning and collaborate with team members in a collaborative development environment.
  
  

• React: Extensive experience with React.js, including functional components, hooks, state management, and context API.
• GraphQL: Experience building applications that consume data from GraphQL APIs, understanding concepts like queries, mutations, and subscriptions.
• Frontend Tools: Proficiency in modern frontend tooling like Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier, and npm/yarn.
• State Management: Strong knowledge of state management libraries like Redux, React Context, or similar.
• UI/UX Design: Ability to translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, high-performance code.
• CSS/Styling: Proficiency in CSS3, Flexbox, Grid, and modern styling libraries (e.g., styled-components, Emotion).
• Version Control: Experience using Git for source control and collaborative development.
• Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first design.
  
  

• Familiarity with Apollo Client or other GraphQL clients.
• Experience with TypeScript in a React environment.
• Understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR) with React (Next.js).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress), and version control tools (GitHub, GitLab).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint-based development.
