Job Description Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: OB/GYN Job Duration: Permanent Shift: Days Clinic 8:30 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday and Hospital call 24/7, call only Saturday and Sunday, 7 days/month Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Michigan License (or in process) required Certifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN, BLS (or willing to obtain), DEA (or willing to obtain) Must-Have: Open to J1 visa candidates, but not accepting H1B candidates
Job Description: - Immediate opening for an OB/GYN to assume an existing patient base for a retiring provider. - Step into an established practice with a full patient panel under an employed practice model. - Work with 1 MD in clinic, 1 NP 3 days per week, 2 full-time MAs, and 1 part-time MA. - Three-provider group performs 460 gynecological procedures annually. - Manage 30-40 patients per day (inpatient and outpatient). - Achieve work-life balance with a dedicated surgery day and established patient panel. - Practice in a collegial environment alongside another OB/GYN and a Nurse Practitioner. - The facility offers the only birthing center in the region, delivering approximately 370 babies a year. - Employed position with a financially sound organization providing on-site ultrasound, NST, IUI, and phlebotomy services. - The office is conveniently located near the hospital. - Clinic uses paper charting, while the hospital employs an electronic medical record system. - Competitive salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed in the interview). Provider may submit salary expectations upon application. - CME funds, medical malpractice insurance plus tail coverage, health/vision/dental insurances, and License/DEA reimbursement provided. - Two investment options available.
