Marketing Technical Lead

to support our

SPARC Team

for KBR’s Science and Space division. KBR provides solutions for NASA, federal-civilian agencies, the U.S. Department of Defense, and commercial customers. Our services include astronaut training, health and human performance, as well as spacecraft and satellite development, operations, and support services. This role offers a unique opportunity to support research and treatment studies on brain health for military and Veteran communities. The Outreach and Education program aims to build community support and awareness, particularly within the military and Veteran communities. This position is full-time, onsite, and requires local travel up to 60% of the time. The

Marketing Technical Lead

will serve as the public-facing public relations coordinator, engaging with the community to develop outreach strategies, messaging, and initiatives to promote brain health education and increase study participation. The role involves building relationships with hospitals, funeral homes, service members, and regional partners. The Lead will coordinate efforts across the team and with external entities, supporting the development, execution, and evaluation of outreach activities and collecting data to measure effectiveness. Responsibilities: Research, assess, develop, and coordinate outreach initiatives to meet study objectives. Support site staff by developing public relations strategies, supporting presentations, and executing outreach events. Coordinate across regions to ensure a cohesive approach. Conduct daily community outreach and serve as the primary public relations contact. Additional responsibilities include coordinating outreach activities with hospitals, law enforcement, and other agencies; developing strategic plans; tracking and reporting data; supporting administrative tasks using tools like Trello; managing large regional outreach activities; and preparing promotional materials. Required Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. At least 5 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and outreach activities. Experience researching and implementing outreach initiatives. Proficiency with marketing tools, including print, audio, video, social media, and tracking tools like Trello. Additional preferred experience includes working in hospitals, law enforcement, military environments, or with service members and their families, and creating podcasts.
