Telecommunications Community ManagerAs the Telecommunications Community Manager, you will be the strategic voice of Ezee Fiber in the communities we serve. This highly visible position is responsible for developing and executing community engagement and government relations strategies that support our Fiber to the Home (FTTH) construction projects. The opportunity demands a confident, persuasive communicator with experience speaking to large audiences in public forums, town halls, or government meetings. You will serve as the primary liaison between Ezee Fiber and municipal governments, HOAs, utility districts, and other key stakeholders, advocating for our initiatives while ensuring community concerns are addressed with transparency and care. Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with local officials, HOA boards, utility districts, and community leaders. Serve as the public face of Ezee Fiber at town halls, council meetings, and other public forums educating stakeholders about the FTTH construction process and timelines. Collaborate closely with internal construction and engineering teams to map outreach efforts and communicate key FTTH project updates to impacted neighborhoods. Identify and manage potential community concerns or resistance to FTTH construction, developing proactive mitigation strategies. Plan and lead educational events, neighborhood outreach campaigns, and stakeholder briefings to build community support and understanding of fiber network benefits. Ensure alignment between community engagement efforts and permitting, construction, and maintenance timelines. Monitor engagement budgets, track metrics, and report regularly on community feedback and project sentiment. Serve as a cross-functional partner with legal, operations, and communications teams to ensure consistent and effective messaging.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Construction Management, or a related field; or 4-7 years of experience in government/community relations, telecommunications, or utility construction. Proven experience supporting or managing FTTH projects or similar fiber infrastructure rollouts. Proven ability to speak effectively to large audiences, both in formal presentations and impromptu community discussions. Deep understanding of the challenges, permitting requirements, and community sensitivities related to FTTH construction. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; strong public speaking and relationship-building abilities. Skilled in navigating sensitive political environments and working across departments. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Experience preparing and delivering presentations and reports to executive and community audiences.
