Job Title: Group Facilitator

Part time, flexibility throughout the week and weekend to conduct groups. 9-12 hours per week.

Compensation: $30-$34/hour


AMFM Healthcare is looking for a passionate and skilled Music Therapy Group Facilitator to join our dynamic clinical team.

We specialize in treating adults experiencing acute mental health conditions. As a Group Facilitator, you’ll play a vital role in our clients' healing journeys by leading therapeutic, specialty-based group sessions that foster connection, expression, and emotional regulation.


What You'll Do:
  • Facilitate structured therapeutic groups in music therapy.

  • Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions within group sessions that align with the mental health needs of adult clients.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with the clinical team and contribute to the overall therapeutic environment of the program.

  • Provide services that meet Joint Commission, DHS/DHCS, and AMFM Healthcare standards for safety, professionalism, and care quality.

  • Monitor for and respond appropriately to client safety concerns or crisis situations, following company policies and procedures.


Who We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum Requirements:

    • 21 years of age or older.

    • High School Diploma or GED.

    • Must be MT-BC certified.

    • Prior experience working with adults with mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.

    • Successful completion of the ADP Selective Screening Services background check as well as any other state, federal or company required background/record check.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Services, Sociology, or related field.

    • Specialized certifications such as Trauma-Informed Care, DBT Skills Group Training, or other therapeutic modalities.

    • Strong documentation, de-escalation, and crisis intervention skills.

    • Familiarity with clinical terminology and managed care medical necessity criteria.
