Marketing Event Coordinator
A growing startup is looking for a highly motivated Marketing Event Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis in Seattle, Washington. This role will focus on supporting the marketing team with prep and coordination of all Marketing materials for upcoming events and provide general administrative support. This is a crucial and fast-paced role supporting marketing initiatives during a busy event season, ensuring seamless execution of conferences and corporate events. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Manage the organization, tracking, and replenishment of marketing inventory, including booth materials, promotional items, and swag. Oversee the preparation and shipment of event materials such as backdrops, monitors, laptops, and signage for multiple conferences. Coordinate shipping logistics, including creating and managing shipping labels for outbound, return, and event-to-event transfers. Ship employee apparel to new hires and support HR with corporate event-related requests. Collaborate with field marketing teams to ensure timely delivery and restocking of event assets. Assist with ad-hoc marketing projects and provide general administrative support during peak seasons. Work cross-functionally to ensure consistent brand execution and operational efficiency. Duration: Approximately 2 months Hours: Full time Mon-Fri Location: Onsite in downtown Seattle Perk: The company will provide an Orca card and reimburse for the cost of public transportation; will not reimburse for parking A background check will be required This is an exciting opportunity to work with a rapidly growing company! Requirements: At least 1 year of experience in event coordination, marketing, or a related field. Proficiency in using tools such as Google Workspace, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience working in an urgency-driven and fast-paced environment. Able to be self-directed, industrious and proactive. Attention to detail and accuracy. A "roll-up-your-sleeves" mindset with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Experience handling event logistics, including managing promotional and event materials. Familiarity with creating and managing shipping labels and coordinating shipments. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experience with HubSpot is a bonus. Innovation starts with people.
