RINA is currently recruiting for a
North America Senior CAD Designer
to join its team within the
Plant Engineering
Division. Mission RINA seeks an experienced technical 3D draftsman to join our structural team. The successful candidate will report to the Pipeline Networks Unit Manager and will be responsible for piping technical drawings with minimal supervision. The role involves working on challenging onshore, offshore, and subsea projects, producing 3D and 2D technical drawings (up to construction details) using CAD software for onshore and subsea/offshore plants. Key Accountabilities Drafting activities for pipelines and facilities across onshore, offshore, and subsea environments, including 3D modeling and 2D drawings at various project stages: feasibility, concept, basic, detail design, and FEED. Preparing Material Take-Offs (MTOs). Education High School Diploma/GED in Design Drafting. Qualifications Minimum high school graduation; technical discipline is preferred. Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling software (e.g., Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D, Autodesk Inventor, CREO). Proficiency with Autodesk Plant 3D is a strong plus. Understanding of piping engineering drawings, especially for onshore, offshore, and subsea projects. At least 15 years of professional experience in related fields. Basic to fair proficiency in English (spoken and written). MS Office skills. Problem-solving and client-oriented attitude. Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently or within a multidisciplinary team under tight schedules.
