Overview
Join to apply for the Videographer/Editor role at Dogs Inc.
Come tell the stories that wag tails and warm hearts. At Dogs Inc, we don’t just make videos—we craft stories that stir emotions, spark hope, and celebrate the magic between extraordinary dogs and the people whose lives they transform.
We’re looking for a full-time, on-site Videographer/Editor with 2–5 years of experience to join our in-house Marketing team. You’ll collaborate on everything from puppy features to PSAs, growing your skills alongside our Emmy Award–winning video team. We’re seeking a local candidate who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment and wants to make an impact.
Applications without a video portfolio will not be reviewed. This is a hands-on position for someone who loves both shooting and editing and can pivot when needed and help shape stories that reflect the heart of our mission. If you bring curiosity, creativity, and pride in your craft, we’d love to see your work.
While we occasionally support social campaigns, this role is focused on crafting emotionally rich, landscape (wide-screen), narrative-driven content, not short-form, social-first videos.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with our Director of Video Production to create video content that reflects the spirit of our brand and mission.
- Collaborate with fellow creatives to plan and produce heartfelt testimonials, puppy features, and polished PSAs.
- Capture footage that feels authentic, emotional, and engaging.
- Edit your own footage—and occasionally someone else’s—into powerful, polished stories.
- Operate and maintain gear, including Sony A7S cameras, lighting kits, and audio equipment.
- Balance multiple projects and shifting deadlines with a can-do attitude.
What You’ll Bring
- 2–5 years of professional experience in video production (agency, nonprofit, or in-house welcomed).
- A portfolio that showcases both strong shooting and thoughtful editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud—especially Premiere Pro (After Effects and Photoshop a plus).
- A solid understanding of lighting, audio, codecs, and post-production workflow.
- Adaptability, collaboration skills, and a willingness to grow.
- A passion for telling stories with warmth, creativity, and purpose.
