Overview
Join the Web Content Developer role at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). You will deliver administrative, scientific, technical and logistical support to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Division of Program Coordination, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives (DPCPSI). Your team will stand up a new NIH DPCPSI Office of Research Innovation, Validation and Application (ORIVA). This position is onsite in Durham, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Be an integral part of a scientific team including researchers, data analysts and programmers
- Maintain and enhance NIH databases and tools by curating and integrating data, ensuring interoperability, updating associated websites and developing user support materials
- Support the development, maintenance and retirement of program web content
- Data curation including tool development
- Update/post scientific and programmatic web content
- Prepare and deliver monthly reports
- Modify and plan research experiment schedules, procedures, and tests
- Use tools and survey software to report on training activities
Required
- MA/MS in a relevant field and 3+ years of professional experience supporting tool development and performing web and database curation and management
- Providing quality assurance on deliverables and timely delivery
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Preferred
- Experience in NAMs or a related scientific field
- Experience with tool development for modeling methods
- Familiarity with biology/toxicology modeling and AI approaches (e.g., ML, expert systems, computer vision)
- Previous experience with Health and Human Services (HHS) and/or NIH

Timeline: This is a contingent posting, expected to start in September 2025

Compensation and Schedule
Salary range: The likely salary range for this position is $94,676 - $128,092. This is not a guarantee of compensation; salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
