Responsibilities

  • Ability to work on an as needed basis including packing, delivering, and installation of artworks in client’s homes, offices, and galleries with a professional and friendly attitude.
  • Packing and handling artworks.
  • Ability to execute delivery and installation in diverse and varied environments on various types of construction (tile, steel, masonry, adobe, etc).
  • Available to work as needed including on consecutive weekdays between the hours of 9:30am and 5pm (no weekends).
  • Generate detailed condition reports and photo documentation as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a museum, gallery, or arts organization; demonstrated expertise in art handling and installation techniques, packing, crating, storing methods, excellent communication and client relations.
  • Valid AZ driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to drive box truck.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments and shift directions as needed to safely and expertly install and move artworks.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work from ladders and lifts.
  • Ability to lead projects while maintaining clients confidence
