Overview
Part-time Lecturer, Communication Studies at Northeastern University. The Communication Studies Department seeks part-time faculty to teach courses including Public Speaking, Business and Professional Speaking, Visual Communication, Communication Ethics, Media History, and related courses in Communication Studies and Media and Screen Studies.
Responsibilities
Teach the specified courses and related topics within the discipline. Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, develop assessments, and provide feedback to students. Support student learning in a diverse classroom.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Communication or a related field is required. MFA considered for production offerings. Two or more years of college teaching experience in Communication Studies preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of diverse academic strengths. Positions contingent upon enrollment, funding, and departmental needs.
