Content Creator Job at Bloom Nutrition in Austin

Overview

We're looking for a nimble, high-output Content Creator with strong video production and editing skills who lives on TikTok and Instagram Reels. This person should be highly proactive, ready to film and edit same-day content, and capable of both starring in and directing creative concepts. You'll serve as a key production engine behind our viral content efforts, with the autonomy to direct shoots, lead freelance contributors, and co-develop ideas with the Social Media Manager. You will report directly to the Social Media Manager as part of our Digital Department.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit engaging short-form content daily across TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate content formats aligned to current trends, sounds, and platform shifts.
• Work closely with the Social Media Manager to translate strategy into high-impact visuals that align with brand voice.
• Direct external talent (actors, creators, contractors) on-set and remotely to achieve desired creative outcomes.
• Manage light production logistics, including storyboarding, props, and location scouting.
• Maintain a rolling library of evergreen concepts, repurposable assets, and trend-ready content banks.
• Source, brief, and manage freelance editors, actors, or creators to scale production efficiently without compromising quality.
• Maintain visual consistency and storytelling coherence across platforms while adapting formats to suit each channel's creative best practices.
• Develop and produce original, on-trend meme content that drives engagement across social platforms.
• Support influencer and paid media specialists with supplementary creative as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in video content creation with a portfolio of TikTok/Reels-first work.
• Proficiency in mobile and desktop editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to shoot, edit, and publish high-quality content with minimal lead time.
• Experience directing shoots and external talent.
• Strong awareness of viral formats, social scripting, and performance storytelling.
