Overview

Watson is looking for a skilled, creative Editor who can craft compelling narratives and elevate visual storytelling across campaigns.

In this role, you’ll transform footage into polished, engaging content—shaping the rhythm, pacing, and emotion of each piece. Beyond technical expertise, you’ll bring a sharp storytelling instinct, collaborating closely with Creative Directors, Strategists, and Motion Designers to develop content that resonates across platforms.

Reporting to a Senior Editor, you’ll be involved in all phases of production, from assembling rough cuts to final delivery. Your ability to blend visuals, sound, and motion seamlessly will be key to delivering high-quality, impactful work.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional editing experience in an agency, studio, or production environment.
  • Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro. A strong understanding of After Effects, Photoshop, and other related programs is a plus.
  • Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition across various content formats.
  • Experience editing short-form and long-form content across social, digital, and commercial platforms.
  • Ability to creatively manipulate footage, integrate motion graphics, and enhance edits through color and sound design.
  • Strong collaboration skills, working closely with directors, designers, and strategists to refine creative execution.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a passion for pixel-perfect edits and a polished final product.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Natural listener with a desire to grow, learn, and positively impact the work and team around you.
  • A proactive and creative mindset, with a strong understanding of visual storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Confidence and professional expertise regarding best practices across all social platforms.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Edit high-quality video content, crafting engaging narratives that align with the creative vision and client objectives.
  • Work closely with Creative Directors, Strategists, and Motion Designers to refine storytelling and execution.
  • Select and arrange footage, refine pacing, and ensure seamless transitions to create compelling visual stories.
  • Incorporate music, sound design, color correction, and motion graphics to enhance the final product.
  • Adapt content for multiple platforms and formats while maintaining consistency and impact.
  • Manage feedback rounds, revisions, and final approvals to ensure high-quality and timely deliveries.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in editing, post-production workflows, and video formats.
