Overview
Web Content Editor 1 - Riding Warehouse, Alpharetta, GA. This is a full-time, 40-hour/week position. Pay: $20-$28/hour DOE. The role requires physical presence in Alpharetta, Georgia. This position is cross-posted in CA and GA locations; one position is available.
Responsibilities
- Maintain product information, including categorization, imagery, and how products are displayed on the website.
- Research and compile original product descriptions tailored to the target consumer.
- Obtain and record technical product details, specifications, and measurements.
- Coordinate and assist with product information transfer and creation between locations.
- Participate in the production of website videos, including planning, scripting, and on-camera work.
- Create engaging articles to drive website traffic.
- Ensure the content assortment reflects information customers seek.
- Apply Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles to maximize reach.
- Deliver content that is engaging, professional, clear, and error-free.
- Identify and adopt a professional voice suitable for Riding Warehouse’s customers.
- Meet assigned deadlines and schedules.
Creative Vision
- Contribute to the ongoing development of Riding Warehouse's content vision by providing feedback, offering ideas, and researching industry trends in ecommerce.
Product Knowledge
- Gain and maintain a thorough understanding of products and manufacturers; communicate functions, features, and benefits in written and video formats.
- Attend vendor sell-in meetings and training sessions to learn about new products and ensure correct website displays.
