Temporary, Part-Time Influencer Marketing Assistant

MERIT is a minimalist beauty brand that designs well-edited essentials to simplify getting ready. MERIT seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Influencer Marketing Assistant to support our Community Team. In this role you will assist in executing influencer gifted campaigns tied to product launches, evergreen initiatives, and review programs across Sephora.com and our DTC channels, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, beauty-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of monthly influencer gifted campaigns, including:
• • High-volume sourcing and researching of new creators for gifted campaigns
  • Collecting creator contact information and organizing internal order forms
  • Tracking campaign performance metrics and maintaining creator data in Tribe Dynamics
  • Maintain stock of the LA product closet
  • Maintain and update PR gifting lists
  • Contribute to research on creator trends and the competitive landscape

Qualifications

• Passionate about the beauty industry and social media/influencer trends
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides); experience with influencer platforms like Grin or Tribe Dynamics is a plus
• Previous internship or coursework in marketing, communications, or related fields (highly preferred)
• Experience with influencer outreach or campaign planning (preferred)
• Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging social channels (preferred)

Compensation and Schedule

This is an hourly, non-exempt, temporary, part-time role with an approximate duration of 6 months and an expected 15-20 hours per week in our Los Angeles (LA) office. The hourly rate for this role is $25.00.
