This position will be working at the Centerville Branch part time working 16-18 hours per week.

Davis County Library is currently hiring for Library Clerk. This position involves working level duties related to the circulation or processing of library materials.

Our Ideal Candidate Requirements

This is an entry-level position with no minimum education or experience required.

Must pass the library's data entry test.

Must be at least 16 years old.

Day-to-Day Duties

• Shelving, shelf reading, realigning the collection, checking books in and out, and answering telephones.
• Collecting fines, handling money, and processing payments for lost books.
• Providing general information or referring patrons to appropriate staff.
• Registering patrons and entering information into the computer.
• Preparing new materials for use, including labeling and covering items.
