The Lawfare Project (TLP) is the world’s leading legal organization dedicated to protecting the civil and human rights of the Jewish people through strategic litigation. With just five full-time attorneys, LP leverages an international network of top litigators to deliver tens of thousands of hours of pro bono legal services to the Jewish community. Our work sets key legal precedents, holds bad actors accountable, and imposes real costs on antisemitism.
#EndJewHatred (EJH), an initiative of The Lawfare Project. It is a grassroots civil rights movement committed to ending Jew-hatred in our lifetime. EJH mobilizes Jewish communities and allies worldwide to demand justice, impose consequences on antisemitism, and reclaim the narrative of Jewish resilience and rights.
Together, TLP and EJH form a powerful two-pronged approach to fighting antisemitism: through precedent-setting legal victories in the courts and bold grassroots mobilization on the ground.
Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to oversee the digital presence of both The Lawfare Project, and the #EndJewHatred movement. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt tone and messaging to fit both a litigation-focused organization and a mass-movement campaign, ensuring that our content is impactful, consistent, and widely shared. This role is central to amplifying our advocacy, driving engagement, and expanding our reach across diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies for both The Lawfare Project and #EndJewHatred, tailored to each brand’s unique voice, audiences, and goals.
- Create, curate, and schedule compelling content (text, graphics, videos, reels, live content) for platforms including Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Balance content across litigation updates, thought leadership, fundraising campaigns, events, and grassroots mobilization initiatives.
Community Engagement
- Monitor and engage with followers, supporters, partners, and critics across platforms in a professional, timely, and strategic manner.
- Cultivate supportive online communities for both brands by amplifying partner voices and responding to audience input.
Campaign Management
- Design and execute digital campaigns that highlight The Lawfare Project’s legal victories and advocacy initiatives, as well as #EndJewHatred’s grassroots mobilizations.
- Collaborate with communications, mobilization, and development teams to integrate social media into broader campaigns.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report performance metrics to evaluate campaign success and identify areas for growth.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to refine strategies for both brands.
Trend Monitoring
- Stay current with trends, platform updates, and best practices in digital advocacy, nonprofit campaigns, and movement-building.
- Identify opportunities to expand reach, particularly among younger audiences.
Brand Consistency & Growth
- Ensure content maintains consistent messaging, voice, and visual identity for both The Lawfare Project and the #EndJewHatred movement.
- Proactively seek opportunities for cross-promotion and audience growth.
- Partner with designers, videographers, and campaign leads to produce multimedia content.
- Support livestreams, webinars, and event promotion across both brands.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years managing social media accounts for nonprofits, advocacy organizations, or movements.
- Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills with proven experience creating high-performing content.
- Familiarity with social media analytics, scheduling tools, and paid ad campaigns.
- Ability to shift seamlessly between professional/strategic legal messaging and activist/movement messaging.
- Passion for Jewish advocacy, civil rights, and grassroots mobilization (preference to candidates with demonstrated experience in Jewish advocacy).
This is a full-time, exempt position with a salary range of $60,000 – $70,000. The Lawfare Project offers a comprehensive benefits package, including full medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 403(b) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays, and the flexibility of remote work.
