Job Overview
We are looking for an exceptional Freelance Motion Designer with a passion for motion and creativity.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced designer looking for a varied role. Due to the nature of the world of healthcare and wellness, the work is always different and across a broad range of media. From developing branding for a medical symposium to storyboarding a social animation to wire-framing a website to developing ground-breaking data visualizations, no day is the same.
Our ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of the big three Adobe apps (Id, Ai, and Ps) alongside excellent knowledge of PowerPoint. For this role, experience of motion design and video production including use of Adobe Pr and Ae is a bonus. If you are a budding photographer, illustrator, or coder, even better!
A minimum of 3 years in a fast-paced studio environment is desirable as is the ability to work from your own initiative along with excellent time management. A strong portfolio demonstrating your skill as an integrated designer and creative thinker is a must.
Core Responsibilities
- Contribute to all stages of creative development, from concept and storyboarding to animation/production and final delivery across a wide range of executions (2D, illustrative, greenscreen)
- Stay up-to-date with current design trends, techniques, and processes
- Understand best practices for long- and short-form content across a variety of platforms
- Work in concert with a wide range of departments including client services, strategy, scientific, creative, design, and digital
- Work effectively with external vendors and internal colleagues to complete projects within timeframe and budget
Experience/Skills Required
- Ability to take concepts from initial brief through to final execution
- Professional-level mastery of Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects
- Expert knowledge of Adobe CS (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
- Working with Cinema 4D is a bonus
- Experience with editing, color grading, and sound design is a bonus
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Strong storytelling, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and work within tight timeframes
- Highly motivated to work from own initiative

- Organized and logical
- Confident and proactive
Level of Experience
- Minimum 3 years of studio/agency/in-house experience
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in graphic design or related subject
