Overview

Position: Music Teacher (Part-time).

St. Vincent’s Catholic School, in Keokuk, Iowa, seeks an enthusiastic part-time music teacher for Kindergarten–5th grade students.

Responsibilities

• Develop a program where students grow in their enjoyment, appreciation, and performance of music through a variety of planned music experiences which include singing, moving to music, playing instruments, and singing at school Masses.
• Incorporate classroom management to include:
  • Fostering an environment for music appreciation
  • Incorporating social-emotional learning skills

Qualifications

Additionally, applicants should have an appropriate Iowa Teaching license, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset. All applicants must hold or be able to obtain valid Iowa certifications as needed.
