Responsibilities

  • Support moderately to highly complex projects by developing user interaction task flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final production assets for new and existing products.
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions regarding features and develop user-centered system requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and perform UX interaction design and validation activities for highly automated systems.
  • Collaborate with other UX designers to create solution concepts based on user-centered requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering and development teams to ensure accurate feature implementation.
  • Mentor and coach junior or less-experienced UX Designers.
  • Utilize at least two design and rapid-prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, InVision) to create user interfaces.
  • Apply user-centered design principles and visual interface design for a variety of platforms (web, mobile, desktop, in-vehicle).
  • Communicate research methodologies, design concepts, data analysis, and test results to diverse stakeholders.
  • Participate in and communicate across cross-functional teams, including engineering, software development, marketing, and business leadership.
  • Use UX metrics and user-centered design processes to provide actionable insights to product engineering teams.
  • Demonstrate ability to champion end-user experience and influence digital product designs across product areas.
  • Support product discovery, design research, and concept validation to inform experience definition and design concepts.
  • Maintain a strong portfolio showcasing UI visual design, task flows, and problem-solving through design.
  • Apply design principles in areas of user flows, accessibility, visual hierarchy, and brand influence.
  • Utilize prototyping, storyboards, and user flows to provide early design insights.

Qualifications

  • (Education) Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Factors, Graphic Design, Interaction/Visual Design, or a related field.
  • (Preferred) Possess knowledge of earthmoving equipment and relevant applications.
