The Brentwood Baptist Church Video Producer is responsible to the church, under the direction of the Digital Strategy Director, for creation of videos for the worship services, web application, promotional outlets including social media, broadcast programming and ministry initiatives of Brentwood Baptist Church.



Primary Job Responsibilities



  • Storyboarding, writing, shooting, directing, and editing video segments for Brentwood Baptist Church. Video segments include, but are not limited to, worship features, testimonial story videos, promotional videos, social media content, missions' videos, training videos, discipleship teaching videos and any video content for web distribution.

  • Proactive assessment of possible video applications and creative development of pieces for proposal to relevant ministries or groups.

  • Works with the Senior Video Producer, Digital Strategy Director and Account Manager to ensure all jobs are completed in a timely manner.



Other Responsibilities



  • Maintaining the campus YouTube channels.

  • Position may include some Sunday hours for the recording and production of elements of services, church life, and ministry applications. Weekday compensation time will be allowed to offset weekend time.

  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of and proficiency with the tools used to produce quality, compelling video segments, including, but not limited to cinema cameras, lighting, audio systems, graphic effects, and non-linear post production editing systems

  • Strong knowledge of Adobe’s Creative Suite.

  • Sufficient writing ability to create scripts and/or oversee the creation of such scripts necessary for the production of quality, compelling video segments.

  • Ability to collaborate well with ministry areas to determine needs



Education & Experience



  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; five years related experience in video or film production, writing, and editing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
